Information Session and Tour

The next info session for parents interested in enrolling a child at the Near West Intergenerational School is this coming Wednesday, Feb 15th at 4:00PM.  Please RSVP to Maggie (lruiz@nearwestschool.org or 216-961-4308). Enter from the central door on the parking lot side.  As we are now in the open enrollment period and the remaining spaces are being filled on a first-come, first-served basis, it is advisable to fill out the online enrollment form before you come, in order to expedite your child's enrollment.

Also coming up on March 7th is a tour of NWIS.  Details are below:

One of the best ways to understand a school as you consider the expanding educational options for your child, grandchild, neighbor's child or just out of community interest is to see it in action!

On behalf of Debbie Fisher, principal of Near West Intergenerational School, I would like to invite you, your friends, and your child(ren) (all ages welcome) to tour the school and see the classrooms and students on Wednesday morning, March 7, from 8:30-9:15am.

If you plan on attending, please let me know so the staff can plan accordingly. If you would like a tour but cannot make the date, please call Maggie at NWIS to arrange visiting NWIS at a different time: 216.961.4308.

Please enter through the back main doors off the parking lot (if driving, enter parking lot from west off Randall). NWIS is located on the lower level of Garrett-Morgan High School at 4016 Woodbine Avenue, Cleveland, 44113.

If you find yourself drawn to the school but don't have kids or don't have kids of school-age yet, remember that there are plenty of ways to get involved with NWIS because of its intergenerational programming and community engagement. Just ask a friendly staff member about ways to get involved!
